Hi, I am Monica, the owner of Sweet Arts, our Cotton Candy shop is run by me and my two teens. I have been baking and cake decorating since I was a little girl, I owned my bakery back in my twenties, now you may ask how I came up with this idea instead of decorating cakes? Well, I am a very curious person, love to see new things and explore new ideas, specialty when it comes to sweets. My idea came up last fall while I was playing with the cotton candy machine that my kids got for Christmas and use only once. I tried to do shapes and characters, but this became a challenge until mastered it!

After falling in love with the art of sugar, I was determined to create a business that offers this kind of product in our new home Virginia Beach. I did a lot of research on flavors, shapes, characters, and textures for a final product! Now my kids and I work on events every weekend, the best part of what we do is that we are together as a family and that we get to see the smiles in kids and adults when they try our cotton candy.

Our primary focus is you, our beloved customers, and how we can serve you for your birthday parties, corporate events, fairs, carnivals, and farmer’s markets. We also specialize in waffles on a stick made with delicious ingredients such as with Nutella, marshmallows, strawberry sauce, maple syrup and heavy whipped cream!
